Privacy

The short version

RippleOut is designed with privacy as a foundational principle. The app requires no user accounts, has no third-party advertising trackers, and does not sell or share your personal data. Core tone generation and speaker tests operate entirely on your iPhone.

Information the app accesses

RippleOut does not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone recordings or other personal content. It generates tones for playback through the current audio route. Speaker tests do not record or upload audio.

Purchases and entitlements

Optional Pro purchases are processed securely by Apple through StoreKit. We never receive, process, or store your credit card or payment details; all billing is handled directly by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.

To manage in-app paywalls, validate purchase receipts, and reliably restore your Pro access across devices, RippleOut uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.). RevenueCat processes pseudonymous technical data strictly for App Functionality purposes:

• An anonymous, randomly generated app user identifier (not tied to your real name or Apple ID);
• Purchase and entitlement metadata (such as product IDs, transaction timestamps, and entitlement state);
• Basic device attributes (such as device model, iOS version, app version, country/storefront locale, and currency).

RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, payment credentials, or precise location. This data is used solely to verify purchases and unlock features, not for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. For details, review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

This website

This is a static website. It does not use analytics, advertising pixels, cookies or contact forms. If you email us, we receive your email address and the message you choose to send. We use it only to reply and keep it only as long as support reasonably requires.

Children's privacy

Because RippleOut does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Links and Apple services

The website and app may open Apple's App Store or external support pages. Those services have their own privacy practices. RippleOut is not responsible for how an external service handles data after you leave our app or website.

Your choices

There is no RippleOut account or cloud profile to delete. You can remove local app preferences by deleting the app. For an App Store purchase or refund request, use Apple's purchase support. For an email support record, ask us to delete the conversation.

Changes to this policy

If RippleOut's data practices change, this page will be updated before the change takes effect. A material change will also be explained in the app when appropriate.
